Hello, I’m Jessica.

I’m a photographer and legacy artist based in Hillsboro, Oregon. For over a decade, I’ve been drawn to photographing people in the moments that matter, the ones filled with connection, emotion, and quiet truth.

Whether I’m documenting a wedding, creating portraits for a brand, or photographing a family at home, my approach is the same. I work with presence and intention, focusing on candid moments, genuine connection, and portraits that feel lived-in rather than posed. I’m less interested in perfection than in recognition, that moment when you see a photograph and feel, yes, that’s us.

I believe photographs become more valuable with time. They hold memory in a way nothing else can, preserving not just how something looked, but how it felt. Some of the most meaningful images in my own life are the ones that captured the spirit of people I love, and that understanding is what led me into legacy work and becoming a death doula. Our stories matter, and how we remember them matters too.

Visually, I’m drawn to the place where light meets shadow, to symmetry, rich color stories, and the timelessness of black and white. These are tools I use to support the story, never to distract from it. I edit with care, honoring history while gently removing the distractions that keep people from seeing themselves clearly.

This work feels like a calling. Being trusted to document love, growth, and connection — whether for a wedding day, a family archive, or a brand built with heart — is something I don’t take lightly. Thank you for being here, and for considering me to help tell your story.
