Hello, I'm Jessica.
I'm a photographer and legacy artist based in Hillsboro, Oregon. For over a decade, I've been drawn to photographing people in the moments that matter—the ones filled with connection, emotion, and quiet truth.
Whether I'm documenting a wedding, creating portraits for a brand, or photographing a family at home, my approach is the same. I work with presence and intention, focusing on candid moments, genuine connection, and portraits that feel lived-in rather than posed. I'm less interested in perfection than in recognition. I want people to see themselves in their photographs and feel that something true was captured—not just how they looked, but who they are.
I believe photographs become more valuable with time. They preserve not just how something looked, but how it felt. The most meaningful images in my own life are the ones that instantly transport me back—to the laughter, the tenderness, and the people I love. I hope to create that same feeling for others.
Visually, I'm drawn to the place where light meets shadow, to rich color, symmetry, and the timelessness of black and white. Every creative choice I make is in service of the story.
This work brings me so much joy. I believe our stories matter, and it is a gift to preserve them through photographs. Thank you for being here, and for considering me to tell yours.
