"My husband is a professional photographer who actually started his career as a wedding photographer, which meant finding a photographer for our own wedding was going to be a particularly unique challenge. As you can imagine, the bar was set high! We fell in love with Jessica’s photography when we were looking for wedding venues; her photography immediately drew us into what wound up becoming our reception venue. "When picking a wedding photographer, Jessica was our first and ONLY choice - so we were so glad she was available! Not only are her photos visually stunning, but she captures real and genuine moments in all areas of the event. She could be standing across the room talking with someone and see your grandma and best friend having a laugh, after only just meeting a few hours ago, and somehow know the right moment, when grandma does that darling nose-wrinkle (only when she thinks something's really funny), to snap the camera. Her eye for special moments and love goes beyond a point-and-shoot. The emotions I feel when looking at photos from our wedding always put me right back to that perfect day. Authentic, Candid, Beautiful, Magic!
Jessica Keaveny is simply the most extraordinary wedding photographer in the world. I was raised in the film industry and am incredibly particular about the aesthetics of photography. I was so concerned about finding someone who could truly capture the emotion and experience of our wedding. Jess was able to capture the truth of the day through beautiful candid documentary style photography and yet made us look our very best. Jess made us feel completely in our element. She has an authentic joyful energy that puts everyone at ease. Jess is an incredible listener. Through the pre-wedding sessions and throughout the day Jess really got to know us, our family, and our friends. When I look at the photos now, I feel like she has captured who my favorite people really are. Her photography is high art. I continue to get messages from friends and friends of friends asking who took our wedding photos. Jess has an incredibly eye for capturing the magic of an event.
The combination of her ability to catch people in a moment and her eye for light and composition make her photographs incredible. She is also the easiest to work with. Jess has been so patient with us as we edit photos and create our album. She always happy to jump on the line and talk through any questions or ideas. Seriously, she is just the best. I could go on about her all day. Of all the vendors we worked with (and we had great folks), Jess was by far the best!!! Couldn't imagine working with anyone else.
